| We are looking for an ABA provider who can help our child with social skills and behavioral issues in a school setting. Please, if anyone has suggestions, that will be beey helpful. We are in Northern Virginia. |
| Behavioral directions / Jane Barbin is great. Does not accept insurance but she's assisted me with some forms etc so I can submit claims for coverage. |
| Little Leaves has been incredible |
| I did call Little Leaves and it seems like they only accept those with an autism diagnosis. We don't have that diagnosis but need some behavioral help. Any other suggestions? |
| Any ABA recommendations in Maryland? |
| Little Leaves in Maryland |
| CARD, Sterling or Alexandria location |
They've a long waiting list |
| Verbal Beginnings is fantastic, accepts insurance and is in VA, MD, DC and PA. |
Insurance will only reimburse you if you have an autism diagnosis. You can always pay out of pocket |
| little leaves does not work with you if you don't have an autism diagnosis. so i guess they do not accept self pay simply because it is so $$$. |
| We have worked with Little Leaves for so long that we were with them before they took insurance. It was $90 an hour for the therapist and $175 for the BCBA. Our bills ran into 10k a month since DC had 20- 30 hrs a week. Make sure insurance will reimburse you if you Self submit. Ours requires preauthorization even though they are in network. |
| Anna at Paving Pathways in northern VA is test. |
I would NOT recommend CARD right now. |
+1 Also CSAAC in Maryland is good. |
