What could possibly go wrong with that? |
Good. Let's do it. |
he will never do it. just because he said he'd do it means he won't actually do it. Like when he said he'd release his tax returns? or when he said he'd show proof his wife wasn't working here illegally? or when he said something big was coming out next Tuesday? yeah, I won't hold my breath. |
He'll 100% testify but his testimony will be taking the Fifth. ![]() |
Trump is a pathological liar. |
Trump is a blowhard. He's just trying to change the narrative. |
This is what I was thinking. He says these things, and points to how he said them whenever someone tries to up the ante on calling him out on something. Then, when people get comfortable with the status quo and generally accept he will not keep his word, he argues that no one really cares anyway. "I'm still President." It's astonishing, really. It speaks to how politically divided Americans perceive themselves to be, that they are willing to allow this kind of garbage human being to represent them. |
He said we'd be very disappointed, which is probably true, since he's been a complete disappointment in everything else so far. |
He is incapable of telling the truth. He is a liar, bigly! |
Can he then be impeached after lying under oath, since there is exactly zero chance he wouldn't lie? The man is a congenital liar. |
Bill Clinton says, "Yes." But will he be? By this Congress? |
I believe he would call that Five Amendment. |
Watch and listen to what he says again. When asked if he will testify under oath? He says, "100 %, I didn't say under oath." He then muddles up 2 different things testifying under oath and pledging allegiance to someone. Asked if Comey lied, he says, "well, i didn't say that." He won't say just what he said or didn't say, just that Comey lied, but not in so many words..
If he ever is questioned under oath by someone who knows what they are doing, he is toast. |
That's the problem. The republicans didn't just obstruct democrats. They're obstructing the democratic process. There should be consequences for a congress that fails to act. |
He's senile. He has obvious, clinically consistent, senile dementia. It is progressing rapidly. He will have no recollection of offering to testify. If he does testify, he could do no more than conflate events based on scattered recollection. |
