Was invited to a graduation party where I only know one of the kids. Was thinking of giving a bigger gift to the kid I know (like a $50) and a smaller token gift to the 3 kids that I don't know. (like a $15 target gift card) -- Thoughts?
You don't need to give gifts to the kids you don't know. The group party is a convenience for their families.
I don't think you need to give gifts to the kids you don't know, but if you do, a nice token gift is a check in the graduation year, $20.17.
I recently attended two different group graduation parties where I only knew one kid of the four and five. I did give an Amazon gift card to the first group and then Target to the second. (No reason except for my convenience in switching from Amazon to Target.) I guess I felt like I had to give something to everyone but I did notice that a lot of people only brought something for the child they knew.
I had a joint grad party and most people just brought a gift for the person they knew.
Is it ok. to give a smaller gift
party is enough maybe a gift to your DC that all
