The 6th grade team is awesome. I am somewhat bias since I am currently on the team. I will be looping with this current class to 7th grade. Teachers get along great and are very helpful.
The school overall is good compared to others I have worked at. There are some issues with bad apples and some administration but overall it is good. Teachers really put forth the effort to make sure students are learning the material. Students are allowed to come in for lunch for help if needed. If you want to know more specifics I'll gladly share them. |

| Yes, within the 1st couple of weeks of school students will be tested in Reading and Math. They will then be placed accordingly. The guidance counselor does a great job of making sure students are where they are supposed to. The changes usually take effect immediately. Outside of Reading and Math there is Advanced World Studies. Every student takes it. It's advanced because different reading strategies are used to reinforce skills needed for PARCC. With the advanced curriculum it has alot more reading and writing involved. |

Jackson Road (we moved). It's a good school and all the teachers were caring and supportive. |
