Part time day care for 15 month old in N Arlington?

I am looking for Part Time day care (3 days/week) for our 15 month old son - beginning in November. We are open to either an in home day care provider or a professsional day care center - our preference.

I am so intimidated by the stories of 2 year waits lists that I don't know where to begin. We live in Clarendon and would be open to anything in N. Arlington. Is a professional day care center pie in the sky at this point? Does anyone know of openings for todders this fall with good in home providers?
