| How do you transition from bottle to cup? My 17 month old is so used to drinking warm milk that when I tried giving her milk (cold) in a cup, she wouldn't drink it. It seems crazy to warm milk then serve it in a cup.. |
| Do whatever will get her to drink it from a cup. It's weird how most kids I have known who love milk in a bottle won't drink it from a cup. |
| I still warm it for my 24 month old and occasionally 5 year old. They like it and childhood is short. No advice here. |
| We had stainless bottles, which warm easily in warm tap water: now we just serve it from the same container, with a straw instead of a nipple. She drinks water from a cup and drinks cold milk from a cup at preschool, but gets warm milk at home. |
| We just gave him cold milk in a cup (2-3 oz.) and didn't make a big deal out of it. He got better at drinking it over time. |
Also reminded ourselves that milk wasn't necessary and made sure to give him cheese and yogurt on days when he didn't drink much milk. |

I warm it up for 30 seconds in the microwave for my 2 year old. If I leave it cold he walks it over to the microwave himself. It takes the chill off but isn't really 'warm.'
He only drinks about 10oz of milk a day. Doesn't bother me to do it. |
| My 4 yo still drinks warm milk out of a cup. It's a pain, but not harmful so not a battle I want to pick. |

My 4 and 6 year olds still drink warm milk out of sippy cups right before bed. The 6 year old would be mortified if her friends knew, but she still loves the milk
We hear it in a coffee cup then split that between two sippy cups. |
| I still warm DDs (4yo) milk which she drinks from a cup when we are home. She will also drink cold milk if necessary - when we are out - but she prefers it warmed up at home. I warm in a mug in the microwave then transfer to plastic cup. |
