What fertility monitor are you using?

Impatient Woman's guide has me convinced that temping + OPK isn't going to give me enough advanced warning before ovulation. Clear blue is less expensive than ovacue, but clear blue requires buying monthly sticks and ovacue is a one time purchase. I can't find many reviews of the Ava bracelet, but those I can find aren't that positive.

What do you recommend, DCUM?

Hello

Are you having unexplained infertility problems and you've done all you could yet no solution to the challenge. I had similar problem, I was afraid to talk about it at first. I read articles about celebrities who has faced similar problem I decided to discuss it with people. Mine was extreme but I got help when I finally decided to tell people about my problem. I was asked to contact rahany herbal center for herbal treatment to infertility. I contacted them they were ready to assist and offered some herbal medications which I took and eventually was able to conceive. It's a long story, if you've been there ( fertility problem) you'll understand what I'm talking about. If you need help contact rahanyherbacenter@yahoo.com for assistance on how to cure infertility challenges. It worked for me and I believe this will go a long way in somebody's life. Best of luck

I used Ovacue for a while, but the vaginal sensor stopped working. They were nice enough to send me a new one free of charge, and then the oral sensor stopped working. I haven't tried any other monitors. When it was working, I liked Ovacue.

Clearblue Fertility Monitor

I use Clear Blue Fertility Monitor and supplement with Wondfo. I feel like the Wondos are helpful in tracking the lead up to ovulation. For me, the CBFM goes quickly from one bar to high fertility and then my peak fertility. Sometimes, I skip high fertility and go directly to peak and miss the optimal time to have intercourse. This is because my luteal phase is really short.

The CBFM is helpful in that I feel like it is more accurate in pinpointing when my surge happens. With the Wondfos, I have to scrutinize the stick to see if the two lines are comparable.

So both systems have their advantages and disadvantages. And using them together have worked best for me. So far, I've been able to get pregnant 3 times with this method. I'm just having problems keeping the pregnancy going

CBFM is really expensive. It's about $70 for one box of sticks. They last long for me because my luteal phase is short and I only use about 5 sticks per cycle. However, if you have a long cycle, I can see someone blowing through 10 or more sticks. That would get quite expensive.

With my first, I used the CBFM but it never showed a peak. Wondfo OPK did, though. You have to experiment and see what works for you. Here is my successful cycle chart from back in 2014 (you can see the row marked Mo only shows H H H but never a peak, while the OPK shows a + on the same day FF decided was my O-day):

With Wondfos, you can save them and see how the line is getting darker until you see a clearly equally dark line. At least in my case that was the best, easiest, and as it happens, cheapest way to track.

PP here: I forgot to say that temping and charting should be the basis for your prediction, and everything else is additional data. Without temping and charting (monitoring your body yourself), the OPKs and monitors become a lot less useful.

I used ClearBlue Advanced (shows "high" and "peak" fertility so there's more notice). Never temped or charted. Obviously it's different for everyone, but the OPK alone was sufficient for me to get pregnant.

I just started using the Ava bracelet, and it's only my first few weeks and it's pretty accurate. Initially I had an issue with the Android app but that cleared up. It matched up with the strips I use.
