Carole seems to gravitate toward the youngest. Heather and Bethenny are both late 40s; Tinsley is early 40s. Carole seems to be best buddies with whoever is youngest. I don't think it's calculated but something I noticed.

Ah, yes. Kristen was deemed "sweet" and she wanted to "take Tinsley under her wing." She definitely has that youth-vampire thing going on.

It's just sad, because I really liked Carole for a while there. She was at her best when she could joke around with LuAnn and have fun with Heather and not take herself so seriously as a fashionista.

I think Sonja is gorgeous. Very unique looking and not plastic-seeming. I'm sure she's had work done, but it's very good work.

I also thought Sonja's interview commentary re: Bethenny/Carole was very spot on. Yes, Bethenny can be a nightmare. But she's your friend. And that's how you treat her when she's down? No thanks. Who needs friends like that.

So, I think what was very revealing is when Bethenny listed all the trips she "gave" Carole as evidence that she's not a taker and is an equal partner in her relationships. That's not what Carole meant. I think B is clearly generous with her money and her time, but that isn't all that's needed to sustain a relationship. If your friend is always in crisis, and needs all your attention, how is that a two-way street? I think Carole had some of her own stuff going on and took a step back from Bethenny to deal with it, and Bethenny was so hurt by that she decided to burn it down. Very sad. I think they probably both made mistakes, but B seems incapable of forgiving, yet expects it of others.

You like a big nose that has a bump and a downward tip? Yeah, it’s not generic because most people have surgery to fix honkers like that.

So they can all look like plastic Barbies? No thanks. Not every nose that isn't a little button is a honker. Sonja is beautiful and so is her distinctive nose. It fits her face.

So my sister works for a resort chain that often promotes housewives at various events. (Think Atlantic city, various weekend resorts, some new jersey convention type arenas) and she said the "easy" ones (meaning can work easily with, only requires one or two people to travel with her, shows up on time and does obligation) can easily make 15k-20k for 1.5 days worth of work. Includes expenses and various credits. Usually Friday night and a Saturday lunch. She said the Jersey sister in laws REALLY work this circuit and easily make another 200k each a year just from her own company. She said they have also "fired" housewives mid obligation because they are flakey and never show up or show up drunk or show up and won't work the lines etc.

I had stopped watching this season but there’s a marathon today and I’m getting caught up — probably not a good thing!

Carole is awful. She adds literally nothing to the show except an ugly face and, this season especially, an ugly oersonality. I loved when she’s trying to tell sonja that she has other things going on in her life she can’t come upwith anythign. After a pause she says “family.” I’m thrilled she’s gone.

That doesn’t mean Bravo wouldn’t fire her.

I think she quit before they could fire her, which they were probably likely going to do. They have to get new blood on the show and she and Tinsley are really the only two that can go. Not going to give up an OG or Slurinda. TV gold.
