Good. They are getting what they so richly deserve. So many MAGAS will die and that's one way of getting rid of the MAGA base.

They threw in a 26 billion dollar subsidy for rural hospitals.

To support the hospitals, but not to provide dollars to the patients thereof.

Because the subsidy goes to the wealthy. Medicaid goes to the poor.

What?! Give free-riders medical care? That would be an irresponsible use of our tax dollars!

But insure that hospital companies thrive, whether or not they have patient demand, well, that's only fair because investors deserve generous, risk-free returns.

This lets them punish poor people without decreasing the profits of the corporations and owners. Welfare for the wealthy.

We’re being run by sociopaths.

My feelings exactly.

Who is the #1 recipient of Medicaid/CHIP? White people (43%). Who is the #1 recipient of SNAP/WIC? White people (37%).

Medicaid data: https://www.medicaid.gov/medicaid/data-and-systems/downloads/macbis/2020-race-etncity-data-brf.pdf
SNAP data: https://frac.org/blog/new-usda-report-provides-picture-of-who-participates-in-snap

An overwhelming amount of those white people come from the red states. Enjoy what you voted for. I know I'll enjoy my increased SALT cap and other tax breaks.
