| All 25 Blues went D1 except one. |
Does Gettysburg not have the same requirements as a NESCAC as far as timing? If not curious which other high academic DIII allow you to commit that early. |
| No Gettysburg is not nescac |
| The D3 2025 blue commit had plenty of d1 offers including an ivy (not Columbia) and she chose otherwise because it was the best fit for her |
I am sure! Good for her! |
She was/is definitely a D1 caliber player. Gettysburg is thrilled to have her. Great player, person and student. |

Why single out Columbia |
Any single out Columbia? |
| Always the bottom of the Ivies and d1 overall |
| Hero’s green to Louisville |
| I would choose any Ivy League school over some of these other Division 1 schools with an 50% admission rate and a low academic profile. |
100%. Lax gets you bragging rights for the next 4 years; an Ivy education (for the right students) sets you up for life. |
|
Congratulations to all these recruits! However, for many, a school like Louisville may not be as desirable as Columbia. Remember, a lot of students do not care about the lacrosse ranking, and lacrosse is not going to be their full-time job or future career.
