I guess I'd rather be nice and doing some good out there than some intellectual snob. She's drawn to him because he's a nice person.

Anyone who knows anything about sports knows that in order to make it to the NFL, you have to be of above average intelligence, if not outright brilliant. Every single person on that field. They may not act the way that people on this board typically think of smart people acting, but that's a different question. They have to remember complex plays, have a deep understanding of strategy, not to mention have the executive function to capitalize on genetic gifts to perform physical feats that almost no one else on earth can perform. Travis Kelce is at least as smart as Tom Hiddleston, Joe Whoever, that Jonas brother, etc. Guaranteed.

OMG! Have you heard footballers talk? The smart ones are on pre-game shows or are analysts play by play. And they are not that smart. Not the smartest group on the planet.

What’s with people having eyes and ears and assessing a person’s intellect and caste? People including you do that literally all day long, literally every day. And Travis he admitted publicly he is stupid and has failed classes.

Where did he publicly say he was stupid? He failed classes. Guess what so did my DH and he is making bank in his corporate job!

+2 Failing classes doesn't mean you're stupid. What kind of intelligence do you have that you can't recognize that??

Failing enough to get kicked off the team as a star player for eligibility issues makes him DUMB. And probably a weed addict. Guy is so clearly a low class bozo.

Being self-effacing is not the same thing. That's him. He didn't get to where he is by being stupid.

Sweetie we can hear him speak. He is dumb goofy jock. Smarter than the average American football player? Sure, maybe. Not a high bar dear. The average NFL player is functionally illiterate.

Your multiple responses to anyone not agreeing with you makes you look like exactly what you accuse others of. Calling strangers sweetie confirms it.

Does anyone else keep seeing this thread title in recent topics and think it’s about naming twins?

The irony of you losers spending your time arguing on the internet about the intelligence of someone you’ve never met, as if any of these nasty comments matter.

As much as I would love to see them get married, have kids and live happily ever after (its my fantasy after all), I think its going to be tough in some respects because they are both at the top of their game - both at the peak of their careers. He just turned 34 though, and as a tight end, his days are numbered, while she will continue to be TS (touring, releasing albums, etc.)

Let’s get back to the important question.

Will Taylor be at the KC game in London?

It's Germany. That seems unlikely doesn't it? Her tour starts 4 days later in Argentina, and I think he'll go there because the Chiefs have a bye week after Germany. He previously said he might just stay in Germany and vacation after that game, but that was before this all started. I think he's going to Argentina.

What?! Greg Olsen is the reason I watch NFL on Fox! The way he explains plays is brilliant. He was a 3x Pro Bowler and played the same position as Travis.
