Who does kingsbury support?

Anonymous
Hello, we are considering Kingsbury for our rising Kindergartener. Can people here share what type of children does the school support? Out child has anxiety and expressive and receptive delays and needs prompting. Any thoughts form posters here? Thanks.

From what I can tell, a little of everything. The classes are so small that most students get pretty individualized programs. I know they can support ADHD, anxiety, behavioral (ODD) issues, and giftedness. Not sure if they have the staff to deal with the expressive and receptive delays - I'd definitely ask about that.

They definitely do. Our child had that profile going into Kindergarten. We toured, applied, did a play date, and were accepted. We couldn't swing the tuition though.

Where is it moving to ( if you can say) I have a family member interested in having their child go there but they aren't living in the US right now.

They don't know. They are negotiating a deal to sell their building to a DC public charter school. The two schools would co-locate for up to several (6) years. And then look for something smaller.
