| Anyone make this comparison recently? |
| No comparison. The Chrysler has low build quality and will loose half it's value in 4 years. The Honda will provide 15 years of reliable service and maintain most of it's new selling price. |
| Just wait. 2018 Odyssey comes out in a month. Buy that. |
|
We had an Odyssey from 2005-2012. We had some issues starting in 2009 but managed to fix them and kept the van.
Starting in 2012, the Odyssey started having a lot of problems. Pretty much every month we were sinking several hundred dollars into replacing parts and fixing things. We got a Town and Country and still have it. Chrysler doesn't have the Town and Country anymore, now they have the Pacifica. My vote would be for the Pacifica. |

The too gooders are going to say odyssey while some chime in for sienna.
Not sure how a mini van can be a status but they seem to make it such. Based off the line of odyssey and sienna at every pool in my neighborhood id get the opposite of those two |
| Love my Pacifica. We keep our cars until they die so I don't care about resale value. |
We have an 08 town and country. Zero issues! |
| I'm on my 2nd dodge minivan. The first I bought used - a 2000 that I bought in 2008. I happily drove it for 8 years! It needed just 2 repairs in that time - an AC fix and a new thermostat. I just replaced it last year with a new Dodge Grand Caravan, which I also love. I obviously keep my cars for a long time so resale is not important to me and the premium for the Honda just doesn't seem worth it. |
| Odyssey - this isn't close |
| I do miss my old Pacifica. It was perfect - not as big as the newer ones I think but large enough. |
| You are actually comparing Pacifica vs Odyssey? Are you kidding me? |
| Love my Odyssey. I don't care what anybody else says. |
It is like comparing apples to oranges. Or Honda to a Chrysler. Haha...!! Honda. Duh.
|
| I'm struggling with the same decision and I'm new to this van thing. Pacifica was top safety peak, better than Oddysey. My concern is about liability. |
