| I previously worked in the corporate world and am now looking for a public school job. I just began interviewing, and I know teachers and therapists in the district. In corporate, when interviewing, I would ask colleagues to put in a good word or put me in touch with someone. Does it work that way in the school? Is it worth it to network and "name drop" in the same way? |
| It can help get your resume seen by a principal or get an interview, but generally will not help you get the actual job. Definitely ask colleagues to put a good word in for you! |
