| Are there any current Bruce Monroe families out there that can give me some insight into the school? I have a rising kindergartener (English dominant) so would love to hear pros and cons. Thank you! |

| were you at the school for preschool? Our kid is PK3 now and having an awesome year. The class is PK3/PK4 mixed and I think almost all the PK4ers in the class will be around for K. Although I do know a lot played lottery. I think the school is getting better at fund raising and attracting more families in the neighborhood but yes the test scores are still troubling. Definitely take a tour. I have found the admins very receptive to meeting with families, giving tours etc. |

| PP here. I think it's good. In PK they alternate days-English/Spanish. On the Spanish days it really is 100% Spanish so it's not really instruction but learning through immersion. |

| OP I'm curious. Are you IB for the school? I have wondered what it would take to bring back some of our IB families back in K? |

OP Here - we are not in OOB but I've seen some movement in the wait list (we are #14) so just thought I'd do some info-gathering in the off chance we even got off the wait list. We really have prioritized language immersion which was why BM was on our list. |
