At home fetal heart monitor - Stork Radio

I have just received an in home fetal heart monitor from Stork Radio. It is the most basic, 20$ a month one. Have any of you had difficulty using the product or not heard the baby's heart beat very easily? Does it take some time before it detects the heart beat?

I used mine last night and it seemed like it took a long time to detect a sound, that kinda sounded like a heart beat, but I am not sure. It definitely wasn't as clear as the one the dr's office has. I am 18 weeks along and had my last check-up last week and we heard the heart beat.

Your experiences would be much appreciated!

I have one but I don't think it is the basic model. I haven't had any trouble but I know to look it the same spot each time. If you aren't right on the spot (or if you don't know where it is it would be hard to find). Did you notice on your last OB visit where it was picked up at?
