Infertility Support and Discussion
| I am on my 11th day of stims and was hoping to trigger tongiht, but when I went to SG this morning, the ultrasound woman said they'd probably wait one more day. Right now I have 9 follicles total, two are 20, three are around 17 and the rest are smaller -- two around 15 and then a 12 and a 10. I'm nervous that the two 20s are going to get too big while they wait for the others to catch up. I know SG does 4000 cycles a year and they know what they are doing and I don't know anything, but still... Did anyone have a similar experience? How did it go? Thanks!!!!! |

i hate it when that happens. maybe they just want the two 20's to get a little more mature, and maybe even the 17 will mature too??
I know it's so stressful!!! good luck!!!!!!!!!! almost there!!!!!! |
| I think I remember the SG nurse saying that in order to trigger, they want to see at least 5-6 follicles 18 or over. |
I had 22 follicles and I was sure that my Dr. at SG was instructing me to trigger a day early! Little did I know. Most of my follies ranges from 15-17 and two were 20 & 21. I thought the cycle was doomed, plus I was almost 40 years old. Nope! I ended up transferred 2 blasts (5 day embryos) and freezing 7! I'm now 28 weeks pregnant with bpy/girl twins. Trust your Dr.!
