OK, so you graduated from Choate Rosemary Hall in 1988. How is the even relevant to your career credentials in 2017? I just want to toss the resume in the circular file for that reason alone.
|
|
I think that's for the other alumni. There's probably a secret handshake too.
|
|
I could see a Choate person doing that beyond gate 30.. Heavy hitter network.
Anyone w one if those hs or sports programs might put it in from Hs days. Choate, Exeter, St. Paul's, Harvard westlake, Long Beach poly, dalton, etc. Thisr are all proxies for a few characteristics.... |
| And they could help your kid maybe get in! Wink wink |
| I do. |
| op - why don't you toss it if it bothers you? |
In which case, you should know when your resume is going to said person and only put it on that one. Anyone else who sees it will think your an ass. |
| Because other people from that HS care about their Hs and might be more inclined to interview that person. That's how private school alumni networks go. |
| I do too. |
I think people who write "your an ass" are asses. |
| I have mine too |
| You should put any information regarding school or experience that people may potentially relate to |
| Because it's a signal to other alumni in the case of the private schools and also a few public magnet schools (Stuyvesant, Bronx Science, TJ, etc.). |
| No, that's ridiculous unless they are a recent college grad. |
| So I went to TJ, but don't include it on my resume. Should I? |
