mini crib bedding

we live in a one bedroom condo and decided to go with a mini crib. can anyone suggest a great website for mini crib bedding (also the same size as a porta crib)? i have found some cute patterns (for a boy), but they aren't always 100% cotton, so i'm still looking.

thanks!

I bought an Emily mini crib and found someone on Ebay who makes custom sheets for a very reasonable price. I purchased the deeper mattress for the mini crib and couldn't find anything but Pack n Play sheets anywhere. I need to dig to find her address but will post her later this weekend.

We got the Emily Mini Crib too. We haven't assembled it yet. How do you like it? We are having the same problem finding bedding. Any information would be great.

hi, this is the original poster. we were also looking at the emily and would love to hear how you like it. which mattress did you buy?

We have been very happy with the crib and are still using it - our child is about to turn two and it looks new. Definitely get the upgraded 50 coil mattress. The one that comes with it is basically a thin Pack n Play style:

We bought plain cream colored sheets but I think there are some other colors. I also bought a mini bumper from the same lady on Ebay and I covered that with some colorful fabric. Honestly, the bumper is not necessary and we toook it out at 6 months to make the crib bigger. this is the link. her boutique is called Lollipos & Lullabies. Make sure you have the mattress dimensions before ordering.

PP here. You can also just purchase sheets - no need to get full bedding.

Thanks for the tip!

Hi! Not to hijack this post, but I wanted to hear from you guys since you have the mini crib - what are the real differences? You really like it? Did it really make that much sense in terms of the regular crib?

We live in a 1 bedroom as well so this is SO great!

Buy Buy Baby online has 100 percent cotton sheets and sets. They are listed under their porta crib sheet sets. they even have organic cotton sets.

another good website for mini crib bedding is babybedding.com. do a search for "porta" and check out the bundles. unfortunately, we were looking for something more along the line of jungle animals or the like, but the baby bargains book gives this company an "A" rating.

Were people happy with the 5.5" 50 coil mattress? Reviews on amazon (not that that's perfectly reliable) were mixed. Was your baby too high at the high est setting?

Also, do people like the look of the crib? We like the Ethan by baby appleseed in terms of look, but unfortunately, our bedroom is already all light wood! Does the Emily look - for lack of a better term - too girly?

The 5.5 mattress is very nice and good quality. At the highest setting it is really easy to get the baby in and out. I mean, they can't move or anything when they are a few months old! A baby certainly wouldn't be able to roll out. We have been using it for two years and have not lowered it to the lowest setting - son has never attempted to climb out. But if he did, we could lower it a bit more. I do not think it looks girly. We have it in Ebony.
