| My husband has a work trip to Mexico City and I will be tagging along with our 3 year old and 5 year old. We'll be staying in an apartment in Condesa for 2 weeks. Any tips on what I should do with the kids while he's working? |

FYI, EPA posts air quality for Mexico City so you might want to keep an eye on it

| Children's museum in Chapultepec Park is great! Make sure you have a car service lined up - so much easier with kids and not too expensive. |

We just did this in December--it was great. The Papalote children's museum is world class. We also enjoyed Chapultepec Park (zoo, castle etc) in Polanco as well as well as the Inbursa Acquarium and the Museo Anthropologia. I heard good things about Kidzania, but didn't have time to get there. If you have time to venture further away from the Condesa area, the Xochimilco canals are beautiful (and especially lively on Sundays) and the pyramids at Teotihuacan are amazing and my 5 year old loved climbing them.

uber is everywhere in Mexico City. works great and so much cheaper than a hotel car service. |
How do you uber without 3G? |
+10000 on uber. So cheap and reliable. Buy a sim card from the airport or from any OXXO (like 7-11). You'll have plenty of data for phone. |
You can pay for coverage in another country. Call your cell provider. I do it for my mom all the time when she travels. Normally it's like $15 or something. |
| You can get free coverage from AT&T in Mexico (depending on your plan.) I don't know about other providers. |
I have Tmobile and it's free data globally. I uber everywhere it's available. |
| coverage in mexico is included with most cricket plans |
I understand that summer is rainy but has the best air quality so hopefully it won't be as much of an issue as at other times of the year. |
