Either this thing is the most brilliant hair product ever invented, or DCUM is part of a very clever viral marketing campaign. I'd like to think it's the former, because I'm poised to order one myself. Any ideas?

I don't know either! I've been so on the edge of buying it, but I have a hard time believing there could ever be this much of a DCUM consensus.

I haven't posted on the thread but I own the Revlon dryer that is being discussed. I love it.

I moved the thread out of Off-Topic but the OP of that thread didn't start any of the related threads. I guess it is just a popular product. Interesting because Maria needs a new hair dryer. Maybe we will find out if it lives up to the hype.

I ordered it too based on reading about it on here. I am impressed with it so far. My only complaint is that I have a tough time drying the first 1-2 inches of hair with it because of the big oval shape. It does an amazing (and quick!) job drying the rest of my hair nice and straight. I've been running my flat iron over my hair after drying, but the whole process takes about 10 minutes compared to 20+ with my old dryer + flat iron routine.

New poster that ordered based on DCUM. I like it a lot. Fine straight hair, a lot of it, just above shoulder length. Agree with a lot of the other feedback, I'll just add that it is LOUD as all get out (as in, I may start wearing ear plugs loud).
