I'm not really a fan of either (I'm old and just don't follow their careers), but it seems like their young love has really bonded them together. He could easily replace her, and vice versa...yet they remain together. |

| I hope it works out for them -their young love must be strong to endure so many years and through such chaos in the press. Miley's latest song is quite nice - she seems to be maturing and going back to her roots. I wish them all the best. |

| No. They broke up because he cheated. His brother cheats on his wife all the time...so I suspect they think it's fine ish. Miley's oxygen is attention and he seems to want a lower key existence in Australia. Fundamentally not compatible. |

Who did he cheat with? Was this confirmed by a reputable source? I figured their break up a few years ago was mostly just a result of Miley (& perhaps Liam, too) not being mature enough for such a serious relationship (which wouldn't be suprising given her age -- IIRC, she was only 19 when they got engaged & 20 when they broke up ). I don't follow these things that closely, though,so I could very well be wrong. |

He cheated on her. They only got back together after his seemingly-promising career fizzled out. She's a deeply confused person who doesn't seem to have a strong sense of self. |

| The chances of it working out aren't very good due to their ages & , especially, the fact that they are both celebrities; very few celebrity relationships work out in the long term.I have to admit, though, that despite both the odds against them & the fact that I typically couldn't care less about the personal lives of celebrities, I am routing for these two to stay together. It seems like Miley really going off the rails coincided with their breakup & like her unhealthy, attention seeking behaviors decreased once they got back together. That could, of course, have more to do with her having having grown up & matured some but it does appear as though their relationship has played at least some part in her becoming a bit more grounded. |

We have different views on what makes someone intelligent and grounded. I've also read interviews with her.
