Expectant and Postpartum Moms
After my husband and I had sex 2 nights ago (sorry, TMI) I noticed I felt what I thought was the baby moving. In previous pregnancies, I felt movement around 16 weeks. I know what it feels like but I'm wondering if this is possible since I'm only 12 weeks along. I haven't felt any more movement (or what I think is movement) since that night. Am I crazy? I'm not over 35 and I've also had no assistance (IVF for example) getting pregnant so I'm not likely to be carrying twins. Has anyone felt movement this early? I have an ultrasound coming up but it's not getting here soon enough.
It was probably gas unless you and your doc are waaaaayyyy off estimating how far along you are. I had a lot of indigestion my first trimester (um, now) and it feels like the baby moving every once in a while.
I don't know I feel a fluttering and I am earlier than you--I don't know if it is movement per say but just your body sort of growing and stretching.
I think 16 weeks is normal for a first pregnancy, but supposedly you can start feeling movement earlier in subsequent pregnancies. So I guess it's possible.
