Seeking CC DC/Barnaby Woods preschool recos

We just purchased a house in the Barnaby Woods area and are trying to figure out where to send our three-year-old (that he could actually get into) WOTP that's reasonably close. He now goes to a EOTP private preschool near Dupont that he can stay in for another year til PK4 but would love to send him somewhere closer.

Full time or part time? Montessori or play based?

For part time, play based, there are a bunch of preschools on Chevy Chase Circle -- CCBC, CCPC, CCUMC (a little further up Connecticut Ave.). There's also St. Paul's, across the street from Murch, that is a tiny, very warm preschool.

For full-time, I only know of Montessori programs -- Broad Branch Children's House and Franklin Montessori.

I absolutely agree with Temple Sinai. I don't know if they still have space at this point, but it is worth checking. I'm a teacher AND I visited lots of nursery schools, and I thought Sinai was the best by far.
