| Hi- no, no have pushed it off until next spring or summer due to some family issues. Although we are thinking about just eloping this summer and skipping the whole big wedding as neither of us care about that but as of now, we're planning on getting married next may or June. |

Hi Bobcat Girl!!! It is so nice to hear from you.....you always remain in the back of my mind. I am sorry to hear about the family issues. As a married person myself, I must say that eloping is a great idea!! Planning our wedding and paying for it was such a waste of time and resources. Good luck to you

| You should elope and save the money! You can also just have a small family only wedding. Don't tell anyone what it is and just invite some people over for lunch/dinner. Have a Justice of the Peace there. Surprise! |

Anyways, we were supposed to be getting married in August and we chose a venue. We both weren't really in love with it at all but we wanted to get married in RI near the beach and we were late to "venue shopping" so we had limited choices. Then his grandfather got very sick last in march (Lyme complications) and it's extremely important to him that he be at our wedding. We talked to my dad about everything regarding not being in love with our venue and then his grandfather and my dad made the suggestion that we could put it off for another year and then be able to actually have a good choice of venues, etc. So as of now, that's what we are doing. HOWEVER, we have been talking about just eloping and then having a fun party at our house to celebrate. We are making vacation plans to go to Mexico in September and have been saying that we could just get married while we were there. Nothing is 100% though but neither of us really want a big fancy wedding which is also what my mother was pushing for. So that pretty much sums it up. Other then that, things are great between us. |
