Orthopedic Doctor Recommendation in NoVA

Hi All -

I'm trying to find a good orthopedic specialist in NoVA. I've had on and off chronic hip pain for a few years now, and my GP doesn't seem to know what the issue is. I've been told to take Ibuprofen to help with the pain, but I'd like to actually figure out what is going on. Does anyone have a doctor they would recommend in NoVA?

Yes. Steve Daneceau. He is at the intersection of Glebe Road and Old Dominion in Arlington. I saw him a few years ago for a broken shoulder (which came with other complications) and he was great.

I've seen Dr. David Romness for years (at least 15) for a variety of problems, beginning with chronic back pain. He's also treated me for a broken wrist, severely sprained ankle, and other minor injuries. I highly recommend him and his entire practice - there may be others in the practice who work more with hip issues if he does not.

The practice is at Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington.
