If you had carpal tunnel, could you recommend the doctor who gave you the cortisone shots if it helped? Were they a specialist? Hand orthapedist? Thanks!
anyone?
I had it bad when I was pg 7 yrs ago. I didn't want to do the cortisone shots, and tried acupuncture instead. The acupuncturist gave me shoulder/arm stretches to do everyday and it went away completely after 2 sessions. He came highly recommended to me by a nurse, however, I was in NY at the time. I don't have any DC recommendations.
Yep, tried acupuncture for weeks, twice a week. Didn't do a damn thing.

This is where I went 2 years ago (on my OB's recommendation):

Stanley Rothschild treated my mom's carpal tunnel ultimately with surgery. He's fantastic. Don't know about cortizone shots but I would check with him. He's an orthopedist in dc (Foxhall shopping center by AU).

Dr. Annunziata is fabulous orthopedist. However, he can have really long wait times to get in to see him. He has been listed in Washingtonian's Top 100 Doctors for a few years now.

Dr. John Dombrowski is the very best pain management specialist in the area. I trust him implicitly. He's creative in his solutions, exudes competence, and is utterly charming. www.washingtonpaincenter.com
