Kim Kardashian-West on Ellen

She says the robbery was a wake-up call about how materialistic she was and how she's a better person now for her kids. I just saw the clip and thought, maybe she's not a terrible person...thoughts?

She's lovely. Hardworking goal oriented business woman with a sharp sense of marketing. She is also sweet and polite and loves her family.

Whats to hate?

I imagine her definition of "less materialistic" and mine differ quite a bit, and actions speak louder than words. I have no particular disdain for her, though - more power to her.

I think she is doing damage control and is telling people what she thinks they want to hear.

This chick makes billions of dollars. Yes her and your definition of less materialistic will be different. You expect her to ride around in a Honda now? She is truly a nice person. How she got with Kanye, no idea.

I had the same reaction OP. I also loved how she called out Caitlyn and the way she's treating her mom. Just because she's transgender doesn't make her less of an asshole.

posting nude pics all the time
plastic surgery fakeness
rampant materialism/flashiness
terrible taste in men
love of fur
questionable friendships (Joe Francis, that leech Jonathan Chiban)
an entire book of selfies?
I could go on...

I didn't watch the whole thing. Was it about the stuff from Caitlyn's memoir, how Kris supposedly knew Bruce wanted to be a woman the whole time? That whole thing is so suspect. And it says a lot that no one calls her anymore as she said in KUWTK. Kim has been the last Caitlyn defender in the family so if she's saying that then it's gotta be bad.

This what I dont get about Caitlyn Jenner. She is called brave but she f*cked up how many kids/wives lives because she couldnt be honest with herself. She is a total asshole.

I like Kim and she seems like a likable person.

Do I feel bad for her that she went through all of that? Yes. Do I believe that SHE thinks she is changed by all of it? Yes. IS she actually a different person now? Hard to tell. Part of her appeal (NOT to me, for the record) is the lavish lifestyle she lives. She may think the robbery has made her less materialistic, and maybe it has to a point, but I think she will revert back to her old ways if her bottom line is affected.

I loved Ellen's reaction to the "where's the rapper's wife?"
KK was especially stripped down on the show -- her nails even looked natural. But she'll need to "give back" in a huge if she expects any credibility in the claim that she's a changed and better person.

She needs to stop crying all the time.

Her and Kourtney wear natural nails, It's Khloe who always has the super long fake nails.
