Is it common to experience more cysts during perimenopause than before? I've just gotten over a delayed period (by 2 weeks), but still am experiencing cyst like pains (they were quite severe for a couple of weeks prior to the delayed menstruation). I suspect it's a cyst that still hasn't fully resolved (pregnancy is NOT possible), but am wondering if it's worth going to see my gyn. 2.5 years ago, my AMH was already 0.3, so quite low, and I wouldn't be surprised to have entered the transition. Thanks ladies!

| I had some pain and a period that lasted 2 weeks. There can be fibroids or cysts that cause pain. I just found out I have a polyp in my uterus - the biopsy was benign but they can turn cancerous so I'm getting a D&C. Get checked out. Never hurts to get an ultrasound. |
| I was just diagnosed with a ruptured cyst (simple) after several days of abdominal pain. Every day in perimenopause is something new and exciting. Not. |

yes, absolutely.
Cysts are quite common during peri-menopause. If the pain persists for more than one complete cycle I'd see your gyn. |

47 here.
I have been getting benign fluid filled cysts that come and go after a few cycles. I had two pelvic ultrasounds to verify. |
