TTC and KY?

Should I not be using the run of the mill KY when TTC? I never used it when I was younger and TTC our two kids, but now I find that I need something --- but we're having trouble conceiving, and I'm wondering if the KY has anything to do with it. Anyone heard anything from their docs about avoiding it?

I think you are supposed to avoid KY and most other lubes. My doctor recommended just using vegetable oil (although it does stain). I think there are other products you can buy online, but they probably aren't as cheap as veg oil. Good luck!

try preseed. ky is bad as is saliva.

My RE said KY negatively impacted fertility, had some spermicide properties. He recommended baby oil, which also stains. I've also heard of egg whites being used.
