Car rental question

We are taking a cross-country trip with two adults, two children, and lots of luggage--probably two large suitcases, two small suitcases, three small carry-ons plus possibly a stroller. We need to rent a car and I'm wondering--will all that fit in a midsize sedan trunk or do we need a full-size sedan or SUV rental? Thanks in advance.

| Rent a minivan. Super-comfortable way to travel while driving, and drives more like a car than an SUV does. |

| Sounds like a lot of luggage. Check the type of cars available in the midsize range on the rental car company's website and do a google search for the trunk dimensions. Also, are there any restrictions on daily mileage? |
