I've always had fine, curly hair. Since having my youngest almost three years ago, it's thinned out a lot around my temples. I know that's common post-partum, but will it ever come back? Could my limp, dry hair reflect stress or another health issue? My hair has changed so much...hardly curly anymore, just wavy/frizzy. Anyone else go through this?
It could be a thyroid issue. Wouldn't hurt to get that checked out.
I second getting your thyroid checked. Also check your diet, make sure you get enough of everything and take a good vitamin as a double measure (but don't just rely on the vitamin for your nutrients.)
My mom had this problem, and she used horse shampoo once a week and her hair started growing back.
Too much testosterone? It causes thinning for both men and women.
Pantene "Thick and Full" is supposed to help as well.

Not OP, but I'm in the exact same situation. Was thinking about rogaine...I stopped using it when I was TTC and pregnant, but can you use that while you are nursing?
I paid a small fortune for a "miracle" hair treatment I saw on TV, but my husband immediately complained that it smelled like I was using his grandmother's shampoo so I stopped! |
Try taking Biotin. It helps with hair regrowth.
