Does anyone go to Garrett County from the DC area on a regular basis? We are in Alexandria. Thanks!

Not sure why you ask the question, but lots of kayakers and cross country skiers go there on a regular basis in season.

You can get from Silver Spring to New Germany State Park in about 3 hours in winter.

my parents have a place there so i go fairly regularly and have been going since i was a kid.
