Anyone have any ideas (or links to sites) with meaningful, useful, or fun Christening gifts? The baby will be about 6 months old. |
I received silver for my DS, and I plan on giving something similar to my nephew: https://www.reedandbarton.com/babies-%26-children/category/20000332

Fisher Price has a Little People Noah's Ark which is great for this. |

Cash, I don't want your junk. |
ugh, you're disgusting. |
NP here: well I don't want to go to your christening but I'm being supportive of family.... So be happy we didn't all just skip the event and spend more time outside on these beautiful spring days! See? Two can play the man game... To be honest, OP, I think a silver silverware set would be lovely, and/or a set of special "dressy but kids safe" plate, bowl and cup. |
There are some really cute kids dish sets (peter rabbit, winnie the pooh, etc) that you could look at. Or a silver/pewter kids mug (we got a few of these, and they are actually nice to put in the fridge for teething, and for baths, and for transitioning to an open cup. Or you could do a kids piggy bank (I did this, along with money for the college fund). |
I agree, even if it could have been said in a nicer way hehe |
We didn't get anything from family or friends. The godmother gave my dd beautiful earrings, but that was it. Our friends brought wine and flowers for our Christening party, but no gifts for dd. I was surprised the grandparents or great grandparents didn't give little gifts either. Didn't matter, we didn't want anything. I'm just saying that maybe it's not always common to give gifts for Christenings. |
You're gross, too. |
