| My second, his first, is it tacky take engagement photos when getting married a second time? |
| No, its just a nice way to have nice pictures of the two of you. |
| I am in the same boat. We didn't publish anything in the newspaper but I had a friend who is a photographer take a mini-session of us with our dogs. It wasn't like super-engagement-ish--no cheesy close ups of the ring or anything. A few shots of just us and a few with our dogs. It was a nice compromise! |
| Sunday NYT always has pictures of people getting married a second time. |
| It depends on how you intend to use/display them. |
I'm 17:20--we just gave some to our parents, and displayed a few in our home. And uploaded a few to Facebook, that was it. I think most people are mindful of the fact that it's one person's first wedding. |
| Who cares. No one will see them but you and future DH, correct? |
He wants to share them with friends and family. |
Just no re friends. Family whatever. It would also be tacky if your first marriage. It is always tacky. |
Why? |
|
I am divorced and dating, so I'll weight in, for whatever it's worth...
I think it's fine. I think engagement pictures are always fine, even if both people were married previously. I'm assuming you're in your 30s or older, which would mean that you wouldn't do anything cheesy. Do what makes you happy and comfortable. |
