| This is coming from a student, I've always liked starting school earlier because it means that we can get out earlier and have more of the summer to do things like travel. This would really impacts our plans for vacations and such. |
Starting school later will likely new you get out later but it won't mean that you have less of the summer to do things like travel as you will now have more time at the end I the summer to do those things. |
| Do you also believe daylight savings time will cause the crops to burn? |
^fixed it. Sleep deprivation & autocorrect are obviously not a good combination

| OP here, I wasn't talking about the time we have in general, because the only time we get to travel is during June and July so it really does take time away. I was happy that school was going to close June 6th, because we would get at least 7 weeks of travel but now we'll have probably 5 weeks [I know technically it's six weeks but we can't travel that week that school ends if it does end on June 13th. |

School will still end pretty early in September but we will lose a lot of the teacher work days and vacations may be shorter.
I don't know that the county has yet announced the last school day this year, but extra days would be make up days for snow and other closings this spring. |
