| driving distance. Any favorites? Really appreciate the suggestions! |
| Annapolis, maybe? |
| Easton has some nice B&Bs. Charlottesville? Inn at Little Washington? Frederick? kind of depends on your budget and where in the DC area you are (the drive to Frederick is a lot shorter from Rockville than Capitol Hill, for example). |

Do you want to be in nature? Or do you want to have a nice hotel room and restaurants nearby?
If it's just one night, why spend time driving? |
| Inn at Perry or salamander. |
For you 4-700/night those are my the last two hotels I would stay at. Both have terrible service and mediocre at best food. |
|
Assuming you have kids.... The closest nice hotel to your house.
|
| Inn at Vaucluse Spring in Stephens City |

What are your suggestions? |
| Tidewater inn in Easton. Cambridge Hyatt. |
Stay at a nicer hotel in DC. Don't know Rory about driving anywhere for one night. If you feel you need to get out of town I would do Keswick in Charlottesville. |
| Antrim 1844 in Taneytown MD. NEar Gettusburg. Includes breakfast, a afternoon tea, and dinner. |
| Go to Paris...Paris, Virginia! The Ashby Inn. We stayed in an attic room and loved it. |
| There is nothing nothing nothing romantic about staying at inns since such as Ashby and Antrim. They all smell, have paper thin walls, and rooms are moder at best. |
