| Drove out I-66 and they were along the road. Also in the mountains. A short tree (seems almost a bush). I took a close-up photo but before struggling to link it I hope someone here knows what I'm talking about. |

One of the prettiest 'weeds' out here is the dwarf veronica plants you see mixed in garden beds. You can spend hours trying to eradicate it, or simply use it as ground cover as I do. Mixed with golden moneywort, it's gorgeous!
