Removing your child from waitlist

Is it possible to do this via myschool? I can't seem to figure out how but I've seen lots of references to people doing so.

Yes, you can do it via MySchoolDC. You'll also fall off of waitlists as you match at higher ranked schools.

I don't think you can this year. My results page says that I have to call the school to decline or accept. Last year I was able to do it from the MSDC website.

Yes, mine seems to be the same. I actually tried to call the school to decline a spot (dd1 matched with our #10 school and her sister matched at our #1 so I wanted to decline the match for dd1, as I expect she will ultimately make it into the #1 school where I am enrolling her sister) but it is still showing up on the myschool site as matched. I have seen absolutely zero waitlist movement for any of the schools on her list- it really doesn't matter to me as I do expect us to end up at our #1 school. I recognize most movement happens after May 1 but I'm surprised that there has not been any movement at all yet as I'm sure some others must be declining matches like we did. I wonder if myschool is actually updating this at all yet.

The schools log into a system and make the updates, not MSDC.
