Are there any outstanding Middle School options in NW

I do not live in the Deal School boundary. I have heard some scary things about the kids who attend Washington Latin. Is anyone familiar with any other charter options for middle school?

I live in the Deal boundary and our child attends Latin. I can safely say that he's not too scary. He's an empathetic, cheery student. Just returned from a week of awesome Boy Scout Camp. Has been doing algebra and analogy practice all summer. Helps his grandma bake. That kind of stuff.
Nothing against Deal; have heard wonderful things. But our child has had a great experience at WL. I am not going to claim that there are not children there who are discipline challenged, but most of the children we encounter at WL are pervasively sweet (kids are kids there).
WL is getting a dedicated Middle School Principal next year, as the school grows, who really seems to know her chops. The PA is going fullsteam with its website, fundraising, activities and teamwork among parents....
I think next year is going to be a great year for the school.
But I would like to hear more too.
We feel great having the option of both Deal and Latin. I would, from my experience, stand behind both.
