Busch Gardens this Saturday or Easter Monday?

Can't decide which is the better day to go. Any BTDT folks with advice?

From the website, it looks like Williamsburg school kids already had their spring break last week so I don't anticipate it being filled with locals, but I'm unsure if it will be crowded with tourists this early on in the season.

We were there this past weekend and it was a madhouse! I expect this Saturday to be the same, maybe less so Monday since people will be getting their kids ready to go to school the next day.

We are thinking of going this Tuesday. Last weekend was the opening weekend for a new rollercoaster. That was part of the crowd size.

Are there crowd calendars, like there are for Disney?

Will the drive home on Monday be really bad if we go on Monday?

I don't think so. I think the bad 95 north traffic will be Easter evening. I think Monday will be a lot less crowded than the weekend.

Any thoughts on what day will be less crowded...this Saturday vs Easter Sunday?

Also is Quick Queue Jr worth it? It gives you one-time priority entry for 10 family rides. My kids are still too short for most of the bigger roller coasters though my 8 yo might want to try Verbolten. I also see that it doesn't cover any of the water rides which they'll definitely want to do.

Thanks for any input. We've never been and the kids aren't awesome at waiting in long lines.

We have only been in the fall so I have no idea how the crowds are other times, but the lines for the kid rides were never that long. Can you buy it once you get there if it turns out to be crowded?

Sunday would be less crowded, because it is traditionally a holiday families spend together. Monday will be less crowded than the days before, except maybe Sunday.

"this Saturday" will be a madhouse.
