Where do you keep your toaster?

We recently renovated our kitchen (think white marble, white cabinets) and it's totally open in the house. I don't like clutter on the countertops or see too many things like toasters, knives, etc. When I'm on instagram I never see toasters. Is that how people live? Where do you leave your toasters?

In the pantry. We aren't a toast family (haven't bought a loaf of bread in years). I pull it out a few times a year when we have company for breakfast.

We're updating our pantry to have a shelf where small appliances like this can be plugged in all the time.

In my last kitchen I had a corner counter drawer with electric outlets that housed our most used counter-top appliances. It was wonderful. Now we keep in on a shelf on our island for easy hiding, but still very accessible for everyday use.

Oh I love the idea to keep it plugged in, but in a pull it out drawer/pantry. WIll have to talk to contractor to see if he can install that for me. Wish I thought of that before!

In a cabinet. I cannot stand cluttered counters.

We have our toaster, blender and coffee machine is a wall cabinet plugged in. This cabinet sits on the countertop and lines up with the above wall cabinet. It's fantastic.

Some people have an appliance garage built in. I wasn't crazy about the way the look so we keep our toaster oven on the counter next to the microwave.

I don't have a toaster because it would be redundant. We have a toaster oven we use almost daily (something 2x/day) and we leave that on the counter.

Since I discovered avocado toast, we upgraded to a SMEG toaster that stays on the counter at all times. It's the only appliance we leave out! We have it in mint green and it's the only pop of color in our white on white kitchen. I love it.

This is us as well. We use our toaster oven so frequently that it wouldn't make sense to take up space with a separate toaster, even though I'll admit that toaster ovens are never as good at toasting bread as a dedicated toaster.

This is what we have, in a corner unit. Works great!

Ours sits on a side counter between our keurig and kitchen aid mixer. I'd like to put it away but use it often for DS.

I hate toaster ovens. My husband had one from his single days that was HUGE and he loved that thing. I was so happy when it died! I use either a toaster or the oven now.

I'm not thrilled about it, but ours is on the counter, along with our breadbox, can opener, electric kettle, knife block, salt and pepper grinders, drying rack, etc. etc. I wish I had somewhere else to put it but we just don't have a lot of cabinet space. We do use it pretty routinely, so at least it's handy. I do want a prettier one, like the Smeg that another poster mentioned.

I use my toaster 2-4 times a week between bagels and waffles, etc. It's just ... on the counter.

But I'm one of The Poors, and can't even visualize what PPs mean about having a toaster in a drawer. I only have two drawers in my kitchen and a toaster wouldn't fit in either.
