Where would you go? Island + Thanksgiving

My husband and I want to take a beach vacation over thanksgiving with our eight month old. Budget for everything is ~4K. I am thinking one of the islands
Or Mexico but I don't know where we should go! I've never done anything all inclusive and it seems like it can be a little cheesy? But could be a good choice for us right now. We're not interested in a cruise. What resorts do you recommend, or maybe an island where an air bnb is a good choice? The only thing I really care about is an easy flight, ideally direct and under six hours. |

| Aruba! Nonstop on southwest out of BWI. Stay at the Hilton as they have the best stretch of beach or the Ritz if you can swing it. Prices aren't crazy during Thanksgiving compared to Christmas. |
