This info isn't correct. I am on the AT Prek3 lists mentioned above and have a number way higher than 5.

DCPCSB has two sets of data on its data portal labelled as 17=18 data.

one is actually 16=17 data (explaining Eagle Academy).

The real list is here: https://public.tableau.com/profile/dc.pcsb#!/vizhome/SY17-18Waitlistdatadisplay_0/Dashboard1

Yes, this is the accurate list. Good find, PP.

OP here. I used the data in the link above. Eagle Academy Capitol Riverfront has a total of 37 kids on their waitlists for 2017-18.

For the PP WL'd at Appletree, which one? did you get your waitlist position through the lottery or a post-lottery application? And note that AT SE is not the Lincoln Park one (which is in NE) but the one near Congress Heights.

According to the link provided above, the only Appletrees with more than 5 on their waitlists are Columbia Heights and Lincoln Park (both grades) and Parklands (PK4 only).

That's definitely not true since we are over 20 on the Appletree SW WL for PK3.

Was that your number on 3/31?

Thanks for posting this list OP. Helpful to all those who complain they were "shut out" of a preK slot.

Again, go to the correct list. The wrong one was originially posted. The correct list is here:

so almost 300 people hoping to get one of probably 3 seats in PK 4 at creative minds. this system is a mess.

Although some of them may have had it as their 12th choice. Keep in mind lots of people are on lots of wait lists. You can't tell how many individual students are represented in these big totals.

Creative Minds is not the only school in the city.

And that one shows 4 kids on the PK3 and 2 kids on the PK4 WL at Appletree SW. If PP submitted an application before the lottery closed and got a WL number in the 20s on 3/31 as part of the lottery results (ie, did not add her kid to the bottom of the WL after results came out) then there is an issue.
