Anyone have a recipe that has worked without eggs for making cookies? Please share. |
Use Ener-G Egg Replacer in place of eggs. |
You can replace egg in cookies quite easily with Banana.
2tbsp water, 1 tbsp oil, and 2 tsp of baking powder replaces one egg. |
You can also replace eggs with a mixture of flax seed and water. It creates the same consistency. |
My kids like this, except I made it with white chocolate chips. http://beamingbaker.com/vegan-cranberry-chocolate-chip-cookies-v-gluten-free-oat-flour/ |
Most shortbread cookies don't have eggs. Same for Mexican/Russian wedding cookies.
These intensely chocolate cookies are my all time favorites: http://doriegreenspan.com/recipe/world-peace-cookies-the-newest-version-from-dories-cookies-sneak-peek/ |
How much ground flax and how much water is equivalent of 1 egg? |
Use a chia or flax egg. I prefer chia, but either work.
For the equivalent of 1 egg, it is 1 tablespoon of ground chia seeds or ground flax plus 3 tablespoons of water. Let sit for 5-10 minutes and it turns into a slimy substance. |
There are "no bake" cookies that don't use eggs - there are lots of variations on these chocolate peanut butter oatmeal no bake ones: https://www.google.com/amp/www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/food-network-kitchen/peanut-butter-chocolate-no-bake-cookies-recipe.amp

For any cookie recipe, replace eggs with apple sauce. |
Second the shortbread suggestion. |
let me google that for you |
I use applesauce as an egg replacer. It works great. |
