Anyone been there during the summer? (Or, if you were there in the winter, what were the lodging and non-skiing activities like? nice?) Thanks.

We went with another family a few summers ago. Lots of fun... a nice pool, playspaces, etc.

I've been in the winter, and found the lodging to be adequate, if a bit "rustic". If you're familiar with other ski resorts, I'd say most of the accomodations at Snowshoe are much nicer/newer.

I was there recently for a weekend getaway.

The lodging was fine - not over the top - more than merely adequate.
We did some golfing and hiking and had a wonderful weekend.
