Why do blacks do so many drugs?

Blacks lead other races in illicit drug use. They are 3.4% higher than the next group, and 7.9% higher than whites. 14.2% higher than Asians.

I've always wondered this myself.

That's a 1% higher rate, not a 3.4% higher rate.

Yes - as a public health professional, we should be very concerned about the results of this study and help black women stop their addiction to illicit drugs. It is perfectly "ok" to discuss this given that this is a scientific study ans we are truly concerned about helping them.

OP is clearly trolling in response to the white women drinking thread. But, OP reveals his/her racialist tendencies by focusing on black people. Here is what the report says:

Clearly the group with the most severe drug problems is persons reporting two or more races. Blacks, in fact, are only a point higher than whites. But, OP wants to attack blacks rather than properly report the statistics.
