Sorry if this is too basic. I'm a guy.
If I buy fresh bagels from the bagel shop, like 6 in a paper bag, how should I store them? Is leaving them in the bag for a few days OK? |
I find that they start to go stale after a day in the bag. I slice any I'm not going to eat and put them in the freezer. |
Freeze the ones you aren't eating today. You can take them out the night before you if you won't have time to defrost in the morning. |
Great. Thank you.

When they cook transfer to plastic bag and store either in fridge for shorter periods (2-3 days) or freezer if it will take you longer than that to eat them. They will dry out in the paper bag. |
+1. That way you can defrost in the toaster. |
I'll store your bagels op! ![]() |
Plastic bag on the counter will last for a few days. Unless you have salt bagels and everything bagels with salt. I have found they don't last long frozen or on the counter. And store them separately from the others. |
LOL, you sound like my brother. Anyway, I agree with storing the ones you don't eat in the freezer. |
Cut in 1/2 and freeze. Then toast and enjoy. |
