insurance company crazy requirements

So I have to wait til lthe 30th day to pick up my DD medication because the insurance company isn't going to paid for it till then. I think this is crazy. Today its the 28th day we got the medication refiled and we have to wait a couple more days. Why ?? Is it because of Obama care ? I ready don't understand the logic of this... Do they think one will only
"Abuse" the medication if they get it 2 days before they run out"? At least my DD doesn't have serve ADHD if she did I would wake up super early that day just for this? We stil have medication left but it would of been nice if we could go before to pick it up.

I've had the same issue with my thyroid medication, and years ago I had it with my birth control pills. Has nothing to do with Obamacare. It's just the way it is with continuing prescriptions.
