Infertility Support and Discussion

means no chance, right?
I usually wait it out, but my temp was still high this morning (usually dropping by now, my LP is only 11-12 days) so I tested and BFN.
I know FRERs are extremely sensitive, and 11dpo is not super early. So I know I'm out, just wondering if you all agree. I know I will know for sure in a day or two, just kind of looking for some feedback in the meantime. (Oh, this is a natural cycle; we have one more natural cycle after this - b/c we'll be on vacation - and then moving on to clomid/FSH + IUI.) |
Well, I guess the lack of responses answers my question.

| I don't know what a FRER is, but I'm sorry if it doesn't happen for you this month. |
| I certainly have heard of cases where hpt's were negative, up to 15dpo or so, and a healthy baby resulted. In general, though, it's probably pretty unusual. I wouldn't entirely give up hope though. |

FRER = First Response Early Result, which is the HPT you can take 5 days before a missed period. It is supposed to be the most sensitive one available.
I did test positive with my other pgs by 11dpo, on tests that were not as sensitive as FRER, so I'm 99.9% sure I'm out. I should know for sure by tomorrow. But I do appreciate the replies! |
| I got a negative on FRER at 11dpo and a very faint positive on 12dpo and had a healthy pregnancy. Based on my limited research, I think implantation happens anytime from 6dpo to 10dpo and then it takes 48 hours or so for the hormone to be detectable on a pregnancy test. Also, not all pregnancies in the same person implant at the same time, so I don't necessarily think you're out, even if you got positive tests at 11dpo in previous pregnancies. |
Thanks, PP. You've certainly given me some straws to grasp at.
I will post my result one way or the other, but I'm starting to feel like AF is just around the corner, darnit! |
